Technical Production Operations Engineer Co-Op

A Technical Production Operations Engineer Co-Op plays a crucial role in supporting our Production Support Operations team by monitoring automated processes, identifying issues, and assisting in troubleshooting efforts. This is an opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a financial services industry application. You will work closely with senior team members, follow documented procedures, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

This is an on-site position in our Wakefield, MA office.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and support automated batch processing jobs

Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of senior team members

Document technical procedures and update knowledge bases

Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with technical teams for resolution

Communicate with internal teams and contribute to proactive issue prevention

Management of client expectations – excellent communication skills are essential

Partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service

Proactive support for documentation development and refinement

Participate in shift work, potentially including evenings and early mornings as part of a 24/7 support team

Required Experience and Skills:

Interest in technical operations and enterprise software support

Knowledge, understanding and/or interest in the financial sector

Desired Technical Skills:

MS Windows, SQL

Ability to balance and manage multiple, competing priorities

Collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams

Self-starter who can display good judgment to plan and accomplish goals in complex fast-paced environment

Creative problem-solving and analysis skills

Ability to handle problem situations quickly, inventively, and resourcefully

Education:

Progress towards a BA or BS degree (BS degree in Finance or Computer Science is a plus.
