About the Department

The Cost Management & New Markets department is part of Customer Project Execution (CPX), the organization responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of wind farms to our customers. We work closely with our customers as well as internal stakeholders to implement projects safely, with high quality, and cost-effectively.

The department is responsible for all CPX cost-related topics in the sales phase of onshore projects. This includes budgeting, cost control, Value Engineering, cost transparency, as well as the continuous development of calculation methods and digital tools. Furthermore, the team supports the expansion of CPX into new markets through due diligence activities, risk assessments, and ensuring country-specific operational requirements.

As a (Lead) Cost Analyst, you will become part of an international team that works closely together to create reliable project budgets, enable sound commercial decisions, and ensure profitable project execution in Northern and Central Europe.

Your tasks – this is where you get involved!

• You are responsible for and develop the project budgets for some of the largest projects in the renewable energy sector in Northern and Central Europe, helping to turn long-term visions into reality.
• You work closely with the teams from Sales, Bid Management, Engineering, and Project Execution to develop effective and economically viable solutions.
• You identify potential savings, initiate Value Engineering activities, and thus strengthen the economic efficiency of projects and the overall development of the company.
• You ensure cost transparency through data-based analyses and insights that enable informed decisions and support sustainable growth.
• You shape the further development of Cost Management by developing new calculation standards, methods, and digital tools that increase efficiency and accuracy.
• You promote Cost Excellence throughout the entire company, establish best practices, strengthen cost awareness, and empower teams to make even more well-founded decisions.

Your profile – this is how you convince us!

• You have a completed degree in the field of engineering, finance, business administration, or economics, as well as experience in Cost Management, Project Controls, Commercial Project Management, Bid Management, or a similar environment.
• You combine sound analytical skills with a strong economic understanding and transform complex data into well-founded insights and viable business decisions.
• You act routinely in technical, infrastructural, or large-scale project contexts and approach complex tasks with energy.
• You communicate confidently in English; German skills are an advantage.
• You use digital tools, reporting solutions, and process improvement measures to increase efficiency and enable continuous improvements.
• You approach your tasks with curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
• You cooperate effectively with various stakeholders, create a solid basis for collaboration, and drive decision-making processes forward through clear argumentation.
