About the Department

The Global Offshore CPX Cost Management Team makes a significant contribution to our offshore projects by providing reliable cost accounting, transparency in project costs, and robust decision-making bases throughout the entire project lifecycle. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the team develops project budgets, implements benchmarking initiatives, and continuously optimizes methods and processes in cost management. As part of Global Offshore Customer Project Execution (CPX), we ensure that our projects remain competitive while maintaining high standards in cost control, governance, and risk assessment.

Your Tasks – this is where you get involved!

As part of the team, you will contribute to offshore wind projects worldwide by creating precise cost analyses and driving the commercial implementation of projects.

• You are responsible for creating construction budgets and cost calculations for offshore wind projects in international markets
• You work closely with Bid Management, Project Management, and other central stakeholders and support all cost-relevant issues
• You ensure cost transparency and implement continuous improvements through benchmarking, business analyses, and data-based insights to increase competitiveness and calculation accuracy
• You further develop calculation tools, processes, and governance standards and ensure that insights gained are systematically incorporated into future projects

Your Profile – this is how you convince us!

• You have a completed degree in the field of finance, economics, business administration, or industrial engineering
• You bring 2-3 years of professional experience in Cost Management, Project Controls, Commercial Management, Calculation/Estimating, or in the Financial Analysis environment
• You possess solid analytical skills and very good Excel knowledge; experience with BI-Tools, SQL, Copilot Agent Builder, or Data Analytics is an advantage
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in the offshore wind, energy, infrastructure industry, or in other large-scale project environments
• You combine commercial understanding with a future-oriented, solution-oriented mindset and bring the motivation to translate complex data into meaningful insights
• You build robust relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex topics clearly, convincingly, and concisely
• You work in a structured, pragmatic, and detail-oriented manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and deliver high-quality results
• You feel comfortable in an international and collaborative working environment and work in a partnership-based manner across teams, functions, and organizational boundaries
• Very good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
