Senior FullStack (Python) Engineer

Responsibilities: Designing the architecture of web applications and their components, defining data flows, dependencies, and communication between services
Developing both backend and frontend parts of web applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Decomposing project requirements into deliverable parts, estimating work, and planning development phases
Reviewing code and effort estimates of team members, mentoring engineers, and supporting their professional growth
Improving application performance, reducing technical debt, and driving refactoring initiatives
Discussing technical solutions, trade-offs, and risks directly with clients

What we expect from you: 5+ years of experience in commercial projects
Upper-Intermediate English level and strong communication skills to discuss technical solutions, trade-offs, and risks directly with clients
Excellent understanding of advanced Python and JavaScript (TypeScript) concepts, and strong experience building REST services with FastAPI, DRF, or Flask
Strong commercial experience with React or Vue
Deep knowledge of Relational Databases: query optimization, indexing, isolation levels and locking, and fixing ORM performance anti-patterns
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
Hands-on experience with AWS, including serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS) and container-based workloads (ECS/EKS), as well as RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM
Experience designing and evolving system architecture, from monoliths to microservices, with a clear understanding of their trade-offs, service boundaries, integration patterns (REST, event-driven, message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS), data consistency, and observability
Experience building high-performance applications: identifying and eliminating bottlenecks across API, database, and caching layers, and applying asynchronous processing and advanced caching
Defining testing strategy at the project level (unit / integration / e2e), keeping tests reliable and maintainable
Ability to decompose requirements, estimate effort, and identify dependencies and risks affecting scope, timeline, and resources
Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and introducing engineering practices on the project level, including team guidelines for AI-assisted development (AI coding tools, reviewing AI-generated code, safe AI usage in client projects)
Experience with LLM API integration, RAG, MCP, and agentic workflows
Will be a plus: Understanding of business models and product roadmaps, and participation in strategic technical discussions
Experience with Kubernetes and IaC tools (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with AI services on AWS (Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, SageMaker)
Experience with other cloud platforms (GCP or Azure)
Experience with frontend architecture: micro-frontends or modular frontend systems, and rendering/loading performance profiling
Experience with another backend language (Node.js, Go, or Java)
Open-minded attitude toward new technologies and approaches
