Full Stack .NET Technical Lead
Vertex Technologies, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Full Stack .NET Technical Lead in Egypt. You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.
What you will do: Drive the application’s business logic implementation, write high-quality code, and enforce strong unit test coverage across the team.
Act as the primary technical contact point for client stakeholders - leading technical discussions, feature refinement, and architectural clarifications.
Oversee data schema design, system integrations, and third-party service connections.
Lead the diagnosis and resolution of performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in high-load areas of the application.
Mentor developers, conduct critical code reviews, and maintain an efficient, quality-driven Agile development culture.
Take ownership of deliverable quality, technical debt management, and engineering standards across the project lifecycle.

You will be successful in this role if you have: At least 6–7 years of commercial software development experience, with prior experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer leading sub-teams.
Expert knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core.
Strong knowledge of relational databases like MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
Proven track record in diagnosing, preventing, and solving complex performance and optimization issues.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
Practical experience setting up and working with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of containerization using Docker, orchestration, and management of containerized solutions.
Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and message brokers.
Strong front-end web development expertise with modern UI frameworks (such as React or Angular).
Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit) and establishing automated quality gates.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills, with a proven ability to present technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong experience with Agile development methodologies and leading an Agile delivery team.
Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for clear, assertive communication in a remote and asynchronous environment.
Nice to have: Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
Hands-on experience with observability and logging tools.
Experience conducting technical interviews and mentoring junior to mid-level engineers.
Background in line management.
Experience migrating from legacy .NET Framework 4.8 to modern .NET.
