Chief Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to join our prestigious hospitality group in Mecca. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting financial decision-making for our growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve accounting processes.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure professional development and high performance.
• Collaborate with management to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks to maximize profitability.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
