About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS Serverless technologies, TypeScript/Node.js, Python, GraphQL, and cloud-native application development . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services while ensuring security, reliability, and performance across distributed cloud environments. This role requires hands-on experience with modern AWS services, identity federation, API development, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Key Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience into Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js .
• Build and manage serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, and DynamoDB .
• Develop secure and performant GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync .
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions using AWS Cognito and SAML 2.0 Federation .
• Create and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) .
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using AWS CodeCatalyst and DevOps best practices.
• Implement security controls utilizing IAM, WAF, KMS , and other AWS security services.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch .
• Develop event-driven and workflow-based architectures using AWS services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams working with React-based applications to define API contracts and data models.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
