Your workplace

At the European Government, the 300 daily guests, mainly expats from all European countries, can enjoy delicious coffee, lunches, and banqueting parties. At the European Government, sustainable food and drinks are served as much as possible. This location is open Monday to Friday between 07.00 - 18.00.

Your team

The team at the location is reasonably large and consists of 8-10 hardworking colleagues. Together they ensure that our guests lack nothing. Additionally, the team values conviviality and they are true team players.

Your function

As an Independent working cook at Eurojust, Den-Haag, you literally and figuratively show your recipe. At Vermaat, we work with food concepts, which means that you work according to the frameworks set therein, but also have the freedom to show your recipes. Every day you challenge yourself to offer guests variety with creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of different cuisines. You are continuously sharp on the quality of the dishes that leave the kitchen. You are also responsible for the administrative part of the kitchen. This is how you ensure that HACCP is complied with, orders are placed on time, and you have mapped the allergens correctly.
