Restaurant Floor Manager (M/F)

On behalf of a major player in the hospitality and catering sector, we are looking for a Restaurant Director to lead the activities of an iconic establishment located at Mont-Saint-Michel.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you are the true conductor of the dining room: team management, service quality, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and monitoring of results.
The team consists of approximately 30 employees in high season and 15 in low season. The position exclusively concerns the management of the dining room, without responsibility for kitchen management.
Your missions Operational management:
- Guarantee the quality of welcome and customer service
- Supervise reservation follow-up and email management
- Manage incidents and unforeseen events with reactivity and implement necessary corrective actions
- Supervise stock management: reception, traceability, monthly inventories.
- Control cash funds and payments
- Monitor restaurant performance indicators
- Ensure daily reporting to the Food & Beverage Director
- Analyze results and identify levers for improvement
- Propose and implement action plans adapted to activity variations
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety rules
- Guarantee the cleanliness of internal and external areas
Management & team animation:
- Supervise, coordinate, and unite the dining room teams
- Participate in recruitment
- Organize schedules and adapt resources to business needs
- Lead daily briefings and debriefings with the teams
- Foster fluid communication between the dining room and kitchen teams
- Support employees in their skill development
- Be a true field manager, present alongside the teams when activity requires it
The profile sought: You have significant experience in catering, ideally at least 10 years, including a minimum of 5 years in team management.
