Buyer - Purchasing

Placement, follow-up, and expediting of requirements for water treatment plants, this includes: equipment, spare parts, works.

Complete knowledge of the purchasing process (searching/finding suppliers, quoting, etc.)

Supplier management:

• search, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers.
• Request quotes according to the technical specifications provided by the client.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery time, and warranties.
• Prepare comparative tables for decision-making.

Budgetary control:

• ensure purchases are within the assigned budget, identify savings opportunities without compromising the quality of materials.
• Anticipate material and service needs in coordination with the technical area.

Delivery follow-up:

• Verify that materials arrive on time and in the correct manner, resolve incidents such as delays, shortages, specification changes.
• Coordination with all areas to ensure the proper flow of information and materials.

Negotiation and drafting of works contracts (civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation)

Equipment import process / international logistics - when applicable. -Requirements-

Minimum education:

• Higher education - Bachelor's degree

3 years of experience

• English

• between 25 and 60 years

Knowledge:
