Shop Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Welcome and assist customers with product enquiries and purchases. Provide information about products, prices, and promotions. Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements. Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately. Issue receipts and maintain proper sales records. Arrange, replenish, and display products neatly. Check stock levels and assist with stock receiving and inventory counting. Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable. Handle customer feedback and basic complaints professionally. Assist with opening and closing shop duties. Support other daily shop operations as required. Requirements: Previous retail or sales experience is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. Friendly, polite, and responsible attitude. Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to work weekends or public holidays when required. Basic knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage.
