SR. PRODUCTS AND PROCESSES ENGINEER

We are looking for a professional to work in the Processes and Products area of CBMM. The main activities are listed below.

Responsibilities and assignments Act in the implementation of technologies, in the development of new processes and products, through studies, planning, structuring, and implementation of chemical processes, aiming at the application of niobium in the global market; Also support the processes of the productive chemical plants, monitor and analyze process variables, and propose improvements; Provide technical support in the preparation of startup and commissioning plans for new chemical plants, providing evaluations and technical reports.

Requirements and qualifications Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry; Advanced/Fluent English; Experience in industrial chemical processes and in the development of chemical processes and inorganic products originating from the chemical industry; Experience in R&D projects in chemical processes (reaction studies, design of process flowcharts, mass and energy balances, design of test programs at bench, pilot, and industrial scales); Experience in managing a team of technicians and engineers dedicated to the development and improvement of chemical processes; Desirable: Experience in startup and commissioning of chemical plants.
