Supplies Coordinator – Materials and Supplies

Responsibilities and attributions

• Coordinate the procurement process for materials and supplies, aligned with operational and strategic demands;
• Implement initiatives focused on ESG;
• Manage the area's pool of initiatives;
• Manage and support the team in actions focused on supplier relationships, conducting negotiations of prices, deadlines, and commercial conditions;
• Ensure continuous supply, avoiding stockouts or excess inventory;
• Monitor inventory levels and turnover, proposing actions for working capital optimization;
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies serving our operations with quality, within the established deadline, and aiming for the best costs;
• Monitor and manage performance indicators (KPIs), such as saving, lead time, service level, and accuracy;
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and regulatory standards;
• Lead and develop the supplies team;
• Act in conjunction with areas such as PCP, Production, Logistics, and Finance;
• Identify risks in the supply chain and propose contingency plans.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Administration, Engineering, logistics, or related fields;
• Previous experience in supplies, procurement, or supply chain;
• Experience with team management;
• Knowledge in strategic negotiation and supplier management;
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, COUPA, or similar);
• Knowledge in inventory management and demand planning. Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, logistics, or related areas is desirable;
• Experience in industrial environments or complex operations;
• Advanced English;
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
