Technology Analyst - React Native Mobile Developer

We are looking for a Technology Analyst with expertise in React Native to work in the Digital Experiences Management at Algar. Our team is responsible for Algar customers' digital journeys, from the self-service app and portal to e-commerce and conversational channels. We integrate front-end, back-end, and corporate systems in a cloud ecosystem, working with agile methodologies, a quality culture, observability, and multidisciplinary squads. You will work on the development, evolution, and maintenance of the Algar app, which has thousands of active users, balancing the delivery of business value with the modernization of the technological base. You will also contribute to the definition of mobile architecture and engineering standards, according to your experience and level of atuação. Here, technical decisions are made considering the business context, and every delivery is designed with its impact on engagement, self-service, and customer satisfaction in mind.

Responsibilities and assignments Develop and evolve app functionalities using React Native and TypeScript for Android and iOS.Participate in the definition and evolution of mobile architecture, including module organization, componentization, state management, and cache and remote data strategies.Contribute to the technical modernization of the app, including updating versions and dependencies, migrating discontinued libraries, and evolving to TypeScript.Integrate the app with REST APIs, handling authentication, session, errors, retries, and unstable connectivity scenarios.Implement and maintain third-party integrations, such as push notifications, deep links, analytics, engagement, and session monitoring.Ensure the performance, stability, and security of the app, monitoring crash metrics, startup time, rendering, and resource consumption.Work with native modules and configurations, such as Gradle, Xcode, and CocoaPods, when necessary.Participate in the store publication cycle, including builds, signing, versioning, gradual rollout, and post-release monitoring.Conduct troubleshooting of production incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and the definition of preventive actions.Perform code reviews and contribute to the dissemination of mobile development best practices.Technically support developers with different experience levels.Evaluate the impact and regression risk of changes.Communicate risks, impacts, and technical trade-offs clearly to product, business, leadership, and other involved areas.Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous evolution of the team's practices.

Requirements and qualifications

Technical Competencies

Experience with React Native in mobile applications. Mastery of TypeScript and the React ecosystem, including hooks, rendering cycle, and re-render optimization. Experience with state management and remote data, using Redux, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, or similar tools. Experience with mobile navigation using React Navigation or equivalent solution. Knowledge of integrations via REST APIs, token authentication, and error handling. Experience with publication and management of applications on Google Play and/or App Store. Experience with automated testing in mobile environments, including unit and component tests. Experience with Git, agile methodologies, and working in multidisciplinary squads. Ability to analyze impacts, signal risks, and explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Necessary Experience

• Professional experience in the development, evolution, or maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.

Education

• Completed higher education or currently studying in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Analysis and Systems Development, or related areas.

Courses and Certificates Courses or certifications related to React Native, TypeScript, Android and iOS mobile development, software engineering, architecture, automated testing, agile methodologies, or cloud technologies will be considered differentials. Participation in Artificial Intelligence initiatives applied to mobile, such as conversational assistants, personalization, LLM-based features, or structured use of AI in the development cycle. Experience with integration and building e-commerce journeys in applications. Building CI/CD pipelines for mobile, including automated builds, tests, signing, and distribution. Building technical and business observability views, including dashboards for crashes, performance, API errors, funnels, conversion, and feature usage. Experience with New Relic, Firebase Crashlytics, or Microsoft Clarity. Experience with end-to-end testing for mobile applications. Knowledge of back-end with Node.js and NestJS, especially in BFF architectures. Knowledge of native Android and iOS projects, including build, configuration, native dependencies, and compilation error diagnosis. Knowledge of engagement tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, OneSignal, and Firebase.
