For this reason, we want to invite you to join us as a Foreign Trade Analyst - Imports, where you will have the opportunity to manage key operations with a direct impact on costs, compliance, and traceability. You will be responsible for controlling advances, documents, taxes, freight, budget, and the crucial tariff classification. This role will allow you to grow by learning about customs regulations, interacting with freight forwarders, and obtaining complete visibility over the financial operation.

You will be responsible for: Controlling the timely clearing of advances to foreign suppliers registered in the internal information system. Analyzing market rates and negotiating freight with freight forwarders and carriers, proposing improvements to the current process. Following up on import operations, including analysis, preparation of customs supports, and control of the expense budget. Preparing and timely delivering reports and data required by government entities and for the internal analysis of the import area. Managing and updating information on import operations in the internal systems, guaranteeing their correct documentation and traceability. Analyzing and verifying proformas, purchase orders, and letters of credit, ensuring their consistency with commercial conditions and current regulations. Determining the tariff classification and assigning the corresponding subheadings to import operations.

What we are looking for in you: Professional in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related fields. Experience in managing import operations, including handling advances to foreign suppliers. Handling of customs documentation and support in import procedures. Ability to analyze international freight and budgetary control of import operations. Knowledge in the management of proformas, purchase orders, and letters of credit. Skill for negotiation and follow-up with suppliers and freight forwarders. Intermediate Excel skills Intermediate English level
