Your tasks:

• Support in the establishment and further development of purchasing strategies for defined product groups
• Preparation and partial execution of price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
• Close cooperation with internal departments, such as production, logistics, and development
• Support in make-or-buy decisions and projects in strategic purchasing
• Support in operational purchasing

What you bring to the role:

• Completed commercial or technical training or a degree in the field of BWL
• Experience in operational purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
• Very good understanding of business processes
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as good experience with ERP-Systemen
• Initiative as well as interest in strategic issues in purchasing
