About the Role
Veeam’s digital experience is how millions of customers, prospects, partners, and future employees discover and engage with our company. As Director of Digital User Experience, you’ll own the experience strategy across veeam.com and our global digital properties, setting the standards, governance, and roadmap that teams across Veeam build against. You’ll be the connective tissue between business strategy and digital execution, uniting research, content structure, journey design, and measurement into one operating model, and translating the brand and visual direction our Creative team owns into the interfaces and journeys customers actually move through. If you think in systems rather than pages and want to shape the digital front door of a market leader in the middle of a major transformation, this is that role.
What You’ll Do
Own the experience layer across veeam.com and every global digital property, defining the customer journeys, interaction models, navigation, and page standards that internal teams and external partners build against
Lead research and discovery through user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis, translating findings into content structure, user flows, and journey maps that serve real customer needs
Own and evolve Veeam’s UI Kit as the authoritative basis for delivery, applying the brand identity and visual design direction set by our Creative team to documented components, patterns, and interaction standards that enable scale, consistency, and speed
Drive continuous improvement by blending qualitative insight with performance data to surface friction, connect design decisions to business outcomes, and sustain a rhythm of evidence-based iteration
Partner with executive and functional leaders to shape digital priorities, investment, and long-term roadmap, presenting strategy and results in terms that land clearly with non-designers
Partner closely with Creative, who own brand and visual design, and connect content, web development, operations, and technology around shared goals, so elevated experiences and the capabilities behind them ship together at scale
Grow the team’s business fluency and craft, while leading relationships with agencies, contractors, and strategic partners supporting experience work
Technologies You’ll Work With
Analysis: web analytics (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics), heat mapping (Microsoft Clarity), funnel and A/B test design (Adobe Target), qualitative user research (UserTesting), and journey mapping and persona development
Creation: enterprise content management and authoring (Adobe Experience Manager), digital asset management, and design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for low- to high-fidelity work, applied through a component-based UI Kit
Production: cloud publishing and release pipelines, multi-region and localization workflows, indexing and content-freshness management, and content governance tooling
Optimization: site search and relevance tuning, personalization and experimentation platforms (Adobe Target), accessibility (WCAG) auditing, conversion rate optimization, and the wider marketing technology stack (customer relationship management, customer data platform, email, chat, paid media)
What You’ll Bring
10 or more years in user experience or digital experience, including 5 or more years leading teams
Proven ownership of a large-scale, multi-language corporate website or digital ecosystem
Demonstrated experience connecting experience and journey work to measurable business outcomes such as conversion and pipeline
Hands-on fluency with enterprise content management, design and prototyping tools, and web analytics and testing platforms
Experience building and governing a user interface kit or design system in partnership with a brand or creative team, and driving its adoption across multiple teams
Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority and to balance competing priorities across a global organization
Working knowledge of accessibility standards and experience building compliance into delivery rather than auditing after the fact
Bonus Skills
Experience in enterprise business-to-business technology, software, or security
Familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, particularly Experience Manager and Target
Prior work with globally distributed teams and multi-region localization
Practical experience applying artificial intelligence to speed up research synthesis, production, or quality assurance work
Background in content strategy, information architecture, or service design alongside interface work
