Are you looking for a challenging position where you can make a difference in the field of quality within our organization? For VDL ETG Eindhoven, we are looking for a Quality Engineer.
The position
As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring end-customer quality requirements both internally and with suppliers. Within our projects, you ensure Q-aspects through, among other things, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, and MSA. You are our point of contact regarding quality! Our customers are located in challenging high-tech markets such as Semiconductor, Healthcare, Analytical, and Science.
As a Quality Engineer, you take the lead in solving complex quality problems. In doing so, skills are required and applied, such as; root cause analysis (RCA, DMAIC, 8D problem solving) and methodologies for process and continuous improvement. You take ownership and initiative to involve others in a structured approach to problem-solving. In this way, Q-issues are solved broadly and definitively within the organization.
As a Quality Engineer NPI, you bear the responsibility for the Q deliverables within a project delivery. In this role, you ensure the introduction and rollout of process control. As a Quality Engineer, you are the knowledge leader regarding SPC and establish the relationship between product quality and process assurance.
Your strengths
- You have a HBO or WO education in the direction of Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another technical background.
- Preferably, you have practical experience with industrial manufacturing and engineering projects in high-tech machine building.
