VDK Groep is growing rapidly. With more than 150 companies domestically and abroad, the amount of data is also increasing quickly. Therefore, we are looking for a Data Analyst who can provide structure, improve data quality, and ensure that we can utilize our data optimally.

Within the Group Business Control team, you will work at the intersection of finance and data. You will play an important role in creating one reliable database that the organization can use for management.

Your tasks

As a Data Analyst, you play an important role in improving and making our data reliable. You will be part of the Group Business Control team and work closely with Business Controllers, as well as other teams (data engineers or controllers). Together, you will ensure that data from different systems is processed, linked, and translated into reliable management information in the correct way. In doing so, your focus lies on data quality, data structure, and the continuous improvement of our data processes.

Your responsibilities include

• Structuring, mapping, cleaning, and linking data from various sources.
• Monitoring and improving the quality, consistency, and reliability of data.
• Ensuring one reliable and unambiguous database (one version of the truth).
• Analyzing data and identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Optimizing and standardizing data processes.
• Supporting the data integration of new companies within VDK Groep.
• Translating data into relevant KPIs, analyses, and reliable management information.

Requirements

What do you bring? You are analytically strong, work accurately, and get energy from solving complex data issues. You understand both the language of finance and that of data.

In addition, you have

• HBO or WO level of working and thinking.
• Experience in a data or finance-related role.
• Experience with datamapping, datamodeling, and data quality.
• Knowledge of data sources, data structures, and data processes.
• Good Excel skills and experience with data processing.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language and good command of English.
• Experience with Power BI and Oracle Smart View and a good command of the German language is a plus.
• You reside in the Netherlands.
