Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Developer to support a major technical Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

The programme involves the technical upgrade and lift-and-shift migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2 , hosted in Azure Cloud.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Maximo customisation and development, Java and automation scripting, integration development, upgrade remediation, unit testing and debugging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customise solutions across Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.x .
  • Develop and maintain Maximo application customisations.
  • Use Java for Maximo development and customisation activities.
  • Develop automation scripts to support Maximo business and technical processes.
  • Analyse existing customisations and determine changes required for the MAS upgrade.
  • Perform upgrade remediation and resolve compatibility issues.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Maximo and external systems.
  • Support API and integration development activities.
  • Perform unit testing of developed solutions and customisations.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application and integration issues.
  • Support technical migration activities from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.x.
  • Collaborate with functional, architecture, database and infrastructure teams.
  • Document technical solutions, changes and remediation activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on Maximo 7.6 and/or MAS 9.x development experience.
  • Experience with Maximo customisation .
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Experience with Maximo automation scripting .
  • Proven Maximo upgrade and remediation experience.
  • Experience developing Maximo integrations .
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience with unit testing .
  • Experience supporting enterprise Maximo upgrade/migration programmes.
  • Understanding of Maximo architecture and application configuration.

Eligibility & Security

  • SC Clearance required or candidate must be eligible and able to obtain it.
  • Ability to work 1–2 days per week onsite in Derby .
