At VaxThera, we are looking for our next Manufacturing Science and Technology Supervisor, who will be responsible for leading strategic technology transfer projects, process optimization, and new product introduction, ensuring successful implementation, operational sustainability, and compliance with the highest quality and regulatory standards.

What will be your purpose? To lead technically and operationally the technology transfer and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the proper coordination of resources, teams, and projects to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and support the organization's growth strategy.

Main responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer projects from planning to successful implementation.
• Manage schedules, budget, risks, indicators, and deliverables associated with manufacturing and technology projects.
• Coordinate the activities required for new product introduction, scaling, standardization, and process optimization.
• Ensure the preparation of facilities, equipment, systems, personnel, and analytical capabilities for the reception and implementation of new technologies and processes.
• Guarantee the effective transfer of knowledge, processes, and documentation between the involved areas and organizations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives oriented toward the performance, robustness, and efficiency of production and analytical processes.
• Provide specialized technical support in investigations, troubleshooting of manufacturing, quality, and process performance.
• Review and approve technical documentation, protocols, reports, and scientific reports related to the projects under their responsibility.
• Manage the assigned team and resources, promoting talent development, cross-functional collaboration, and the fulfillment of the area's objectives.
• Participate as a technical reference in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

Requirements

• Professional in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related careers related to pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnological sciences.
• Desirable complementary training in:

Project Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Product Development, Biotechnology, Manufacturing Sciences, or related areas.

• English level B2.
