With our team, we are responsible for monitoring and controlling the production process, both in operation and in the field. Furthermore, we are the first line in managing malfunctions and emergencies. We also ensure the execution of periodic maintenance. What are you going to do? As a Mechanical Engineer, you work in a team that operates the power plant and adjusts the production process where necessary. You work with a process automation system to monitor the process and adjust settings if necessary. In addition to automatic process control, a physical check of the installations is, of course, a requirement, so you and your colleagues regularly walk a round through the plant for inspection. In the event of a malfunction, you perform the analysis yourself and make an assessment of the urgency. To carry out repairs or replacements, you call in the WTB or EC&I maintenance teams. With your experience and drive for optimal performance, you ensure continuous improvement of the production process, in which digitalization plays an increasingly large role. In addition, you have the following tasks: You ensure the monitoring and control of the installation. You take the installation in and out of service and ensure that this happens safely. You are involved in performing inspection rounds. You secure the installation during work activities and ensure that work can be carried out safely.
