As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, as a member of the maintenance team, you are responsible for the corrective and preventive maintenance of the mechanical parts of our installations; think, among other things, of gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, valves, and piping. You perform activities in the areas of preparation, execution, and aftercare of the maintenance. You do this within a multidisciplinary team in which all team members have their own expertise. You perform maintenance within the agreed schedule and advise based on the findings. You perform the necessary maintenance yourself or you coordinate with one of our partners to complete the job together. This is with the aim of guaranteeing optimal reliability and operation of machines and installations. Important here is that you always ensure a safe workplace and situation. You ensure the recording of relevant technical and administrative data after a task has been performed, so that others can invoice and create reports and analyses based on the correct information. You advise on improvement possibilities where the focus lies on safety, quality, planning, and costs. Location:

Who are you?

As our Mechanical Engineering Technician, you are communicatively strong and like working in a team. You are active, positive, and open, and safety is your priority. In addition, you have: A diploma MBO level 4 or HBO AD diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Experience in a similar environment and position; Knowledge of the English language; VCA-VOL; Driving license B.

What do we offer?

The amount of your primary salary is based on education and (possible) relevant work experience. In addition to your primary salary, we offer a good secondary employment benefits package, including a collective discount for health insurance, a good pension scheme, year-end bonus, travel allowance, and 25 vacation days plus 13 ADV days. Furthermore, we offer flexible employment conditions in which you can, among other things, buy and sell your vacation days. The base location for this position is Diemen; it is possible that you will also be deployed on projects at other locations as a contact person, in which case you will regularly be in our power plants in Amsterdam and Velsen.
