At Vattenfall, as an Intern in the Solar & Batteries procurement team, you will participate in procurement processes for the realization of new solar parks and battery projects in the Netherlands and Germany. Your location is Amsterdam, but you will be part of an international team of enthusiastic and committed buyers in Hamburg, Berlin, and Amsterdam. The working language is English. Additionally, you will work outside our team with people from various disciplines and countries, allowing you to build a broad international network. Your role

As an Intern Solar & Batteries, you will support the Dutch team in the execution of ongoing and new procurement processes with suppliers from Europe and Asia. You will be given plenty of room to think along, take initiative, and independently take responsibility for parts of large-scale processes. The internship period lasts 5 to 6 months.

What do you bring? You are following a HBO or WO education, for example in Commercial Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written. German is a plus, but not necessary You are curious, proactive, and have an eye for detail You enjoy working in a team, but can also work well independently You are interested in sustainable energy and the role of procurement within large-scale energy projects What do we expect from you as an intern?

We offer

We also offer you the space to get to know Vattenfall in its entirety and to expand your own network. Voltage, the network of interns within Vattenfall, offers various activities to get to know the company, the energy market, and your fellow interns. Think of application training, lunches, and excursions (for example, to a power plant).

Additionally, you can participate in monthly sporting, cultural, and social activities of the MegaWatt network. We offer an internship allowance of 500 euros per month (based on 40 hours). If you do not possess a student OV-kaart, you will also receive a travel allowance.
