For Vattenfall GmbH, we are looking for a Legal Counsel for the Group Works Council in a fixed-term position at the Berlin or Hamburg locations, effective immediately. You will support the Group Works Council through advice on strategic and technical issues. You will coordinate internal and external communication, ensure the proper processes of operational co-determination at the group level, and accompany international co-determination in the European Works Council.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities The legal support of the Group Works Council and advice on strategic issues constitutes an essential part of your work. You will provide conceptual support to the chairmanship of the Group Works Council, including the creation of presentations and lectures for internal and external communication as well as within the framework of negotiations. You will apply your know-how specifically in the design and conception of works agreements, the implementation of the rules of the Betriebsverfassungsgesetz, and application issues of operational and collective bargaining agreements.

Your Profile You have completed a degree in law or will complete it in the foreseeable future, preferably with a focus on labor law. You already have professional experience in a comparable environment or, as an entry-level professional, already have a clear focus on labor law topics. You have good written and spoken English skills. You possess a very high degree of integrity, self-motivation, service orientation, and a sense of duty, and you work independently and in a structured manner. Precision and persuasiveness in speech and writing are important to you. A confident appearance and sociability, combined with a willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation, are your strengths.
