Launch Manager
1.Program Launch Ownership Drive new lighting programs from RFQ/feasibility → design → tooling → DV/PV → pilot → SOP → ramp-up. Own master schedule (WBS, Gantt, milestones), critical path, and stage-gate reviews. Ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality start of production. 2.APQP / IATF 16949 Lead plant APQP: Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, Run-at-Rate, PPAP submission. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016, AIAG Core Tools, and customer-specific requirements. Coordinate DV/PV testing: photometry, ECE/SAE regulation, thermal, vibration, IP/IX, chemical, EMC (with EE/lab). 3.Cross-functional Coordination Lead teams across Engineering, Tooling, Injection Molding, Hard Coat/Painting, Plating, Electronics/PCBA, Assembly, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, Maintenance. Align customer program managers, Varroc engineering centers, and supplier base. 4.Tooling & Process Readiness Track injection molds, lens hard-coat lines, reflector coating/plating, LED/driver assembly, test fixtures, gauges, automation, and line layout. Verify machine capability (Cpk), fixture/mold tryout, process window, and operator training before SOP. 5.Customer Interface Act as plant-level launch contact for OEM customer: timing, open issues, documentation, build events, sample shipments. Run Launch Readiness Review (LRR), Monthly Status Review (MSR), QRQC, and customer audits. 6.Cost, Risk & Continuous Improvement Control program budget: BOM cost, tooling/Capex, launch cost, scrap, rework, and change cost. Drive VAVE, PCR, Kaizen, Lean, and defect reduction during ramp-up. Manage ECN/ECR, deviation requests, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer to series production.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical / Automotive / Electrical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering. 5–8+ years in automotive Tier 1 program/launch management; automotive lighting experience strongly preferred. Excellent English;
