Duties and responsibilities Manage purchasing activities within the navigation equipment area, including DP systems, sensors, positioning and related navigation and bridge equipment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Lead supplier negotiations on price, delivery, commercial terms and contracts. Develop and re-negotiate framework agreements, price lists and other commercial agreements. Evaluate supplier offers and perform commercial analysis. Ensure competitive pricing and support cost reduction and procurement improvement initiatives. Work closely with Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial alignment. Follow up supplier performance, deliveries and commercial topics. Analyze purchasing and spend data and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure correct procurement data, pricing and supplier information are maintained in SAP/ERP. Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and ways of working. Qualifications Relevant higher education within procurement, supply chain, business, engineering or a related field. Several years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within marine, maritime, offshore or industrial equipment. Competence and experience within navigation equipment, ideally including DP systems, sensors, positioning and related systems is preferred. Strong commercial and negotiation skills. Good analytical skills. Experience with contracts, supplier management and commercial agreements. Good understanding of technical products and the ability to work effectively with Engineering and other technical stakeholders. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
