Electrical Site Engineer
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Assist in the execution of power, lighting, low-current, earthing, and cable installation works in accordance with approved shop drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure smooth work progress and avoid site conflicts.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor workmanship quality, installation methods, and construction progress.
- Monitor subcontractors’ activities and report progress, quality issues, and delays to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure the timely availability of electrical materials and equipment.
- Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and ensure proper handling and storage on site.
- Coordinate with the Technical Office regarding shop drawings, RFIs, and technical clarifications.
- Identify site issues and assist in resolving technical problems in coordination with the project team.
- Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, quality standards, consultant requirements, and applicable electrical codes.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and inspection activities for electrical systems.
- Prepare punch lists and support the completion of snagging and de-snagging activities.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for completed electrical works.
- Support the project handover process by ensuring all electrical works and documentation are completed as required.
. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in Electrical site supervision, preferably in residential projects.
. Excellent knowledge of Electrical materials, installation methods, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Effective communication and coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments.
- Ability to detect execution issues early and provide technical solutions to avoid rework or delays.
- Strong reporting skills, documentation control, and progress tracking.
- Good understanding of quality, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Good command of MS Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple site tasks, and meet project deadlines.
