On-Site Waste Management Supervisor
Role Purpose
Responsible for the overall coordination, planning and operational control of MAEH's on-site waste management activities at VSMC. The Supervisor oversees daily operations, plans upcoming collections, coordinates with VSMC and MAEH stakeholders, and manages operational exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily waste operations within VSMC facilities and allocate work to the Coordinator.
- Monitor overall waste status, including;
- Liquid Chemical Waste
- Solid Chemical Waste
- General Waste
- WWTP Sludge Waste
- Plan and coordinate daily and next-day waste collections based on waste levels, available capacity and expected generation.
- Liaise with VSMC Facilities and other relevant teams on site with regards to upcoming waste generation and operational requirements.
- Coordinate collection requirements with MAEH CS/Sales, Transport Team, and on-site collection teams as required.
- Lead internal toolbox meetings and oversee critical stages during liquid chemical waste collection.
- Oversee solid-waste segregation, MGB management and controlled disposal activities.
- Coordinate General Waste and WWTP Sludge OTC exchanges.
- Manage abnormal, unidentified or non-routine waste through the appropriate escalation channels.
- Review operational documentation, outstanding actions and collection records.
- Prepare or coordinate agreed operational reporting and forward planning.
- Support ground operations when required while maintaining overall site oversight.
