We sweep, scrub and wash underground parkades across Metro Vancouver. The customer base is established and the work is steady.

We need one person to help run it.

You'll work right beside the owner. You'll be on the tools with the crew, keep the jobs running on time and look after our customers. If you're handy, hungry and like owning a problem until it's fixed, read on.

WHAT WE DO

We clean parkades for strata buildings, commercial towers and property managers. Most contractors treat this work as blast-and-go. We don't. When we finish, the floors and corners are clean, the drains are protected, no cars get overspray, and the residents notice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Sweep, scrub and pressure wash parkades alongside the crew. This is a hands-on role, not a desk job.
• Run the gear: ride-on and walk-behind sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers and vacuums
• Set up every site properly: signage, resident notices, drain and vehicle protection
• Keep the equipment running. Do daily checks and basic repairs, and know when to call a tech.
• Schedule jobs and crew across the week so nobody sits idle
• Lead a small crew and hold the standard on every job
• Be the main contact for property managers and strata councils before, during and after each job
• Help build the checklists and standards the crew works to

WHAT YOU NEED

• You work hard. Early starts, some nights, and wet, cold conditions.
• You're handy with equipment, hoses, pumps and small engines. When something breaks at 11pm, you troubleshoot it.
• You notice the missed corner before the customer does.
• You're comfortable talking to a property manager or an annoyed resident.
• You take ownership and work well without someone watching over you.
• Valid BC driver's licence with a clean abstract. Comfortable driving a truck and trailer.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in parkade cleaning, pressure washing, janitorial, landscaping, construction or another trade
• A mechanical background. If you've worked on cars or small engines, tell us.
• Experience dealing with property managers or strata councils
• Confined space, fall protection, first aid or WHMIS tickets

PAY AND SCHEDULE

• $35.00 per hour
• Full-time, Monday to Friday. Start times are set by the job, with some nights and early mornings.
• 2 weeks' vacation per year
• A long-term role that grows as the business grows
