Credit Operations Agent - Lending Ops

Vana is a proudly Guatemalan Fintech. Our main objective is to use technology to facilitate access to financial products for the underbanked population.

Currently, we focus on loans whose main characteristics are ease, speed, and the amounts offered. The entire application is completed through our Android App; it is not necessary to visit an agency or physical location to obtain these loans.

Purpose of the position: Responsible for evaluating credit applications submitted by customers, through the analysis of the documentation shared by the user and in compliance with internal policies. This role is fundamental to guarantee a healthy portfolio, mitigate financial risks, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the business, ensuring that credit decisions are made based on technical, objective criteria aligned with current regulations.

Main Responsibilities:  Perform analysis of credit applications, identity verification of applicants, and analysis of high-risk applications.  Analysis and application of payments in the system.  Follow up on complex credit applications.  Ensure that accepted applications comply with the standards defined by the company.

Desirable Requirements First-year student of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, and/or related training.

At least 50% comprehension of written and spoken English.

Two years of previous experience in positions such as: Customer Service/Customer Service Representative/Telephone and Chat Agent.

Experience in: virtual customer service via chat such as FB Messenger, Inbox, Institutional Emails, and WhatsApp Business.

Excellent oral and written communication, proactive, dynamic, self-starter, and results-oriented.
