Expedition Foreman

What does your role look like? As Expedition Foreman, you are responsible for managing the loading staff and ensuring that the logistical process runs smoothly. You maintain an overview of the work floor, coordinate with various departments, and ensure that products are ready for transport in the correct and timely manner. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all trucks are loaded correctly and efficiently.

You are a true team player who likes to roll up your sleeves and knows how to motivate and guide your colleagues in a dynamic work environment.

A clear overview of your activities:

• You manage the loading staff and guide colleagues on the work floor;

• You coordinate with other departments to prepare products for transport in a timely manner;

• You ensure that trucks are loaded correctly and on time;

• You monitor the progress and quality of the activities within the expedition;

• You maintain an overview and intervene where necessary to ensure the process runs smoothly;

• You actively think along about improvements within the logistical processes;

• You ensure a neat, safe, and organized work environment.

What do we expect from you?

• MBO work and thinking level;

• Demonstrable leadership capacities;

• Proficiency in the English language;

• Willingness to work both day and night shifts;

• You are stress-resistant and know how to maintain a good overview;

• A hands-on mentality and a proactive work attitude.

Pre:

• Proficiency in the Dutch, Romanian and/or Polish language;

• Knowledge of CSB;

• Experience within the food or logistical sector.
