Your responsibilities

In Helmond, also known as Van Lieshout Snackwaren, we produce frikandellen, hamburgers, minced meat products and various other snacks on largely automated production lines.

As a Process Technologist you are the link between the operators and the Technical Service. You spend a lot of time on the production floor and investigate how processes can be made smarter, faster and more efficient. Your goal: increase line capacity, reduce losses and save costs.

In this role:

  • You investigate the causes of breakdowns and process issues together with operators and the Technical Service;
  • You run trials to optimise processes and increase line capacity;
  • You identify losses, waste and opportunities for savings;
  • You analyse production data and monitor the results of improvements;
  • You support Product & Process Development, SCA and Value Engineering in projects;
  • You provide input for risk analyses in the areas of food safety, cleaning and disinfection;
  • You ensure the correct application of process instructions and guidelines.

What you bring to the table

You look for the root cause of problems and don't settle for temporary solutions. With your technical knowledge and practical approach, you bring operators and technical colleagues along in driving improvements.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed mbo+ or hbo qualification in Food Technology, Process Technology or a comparable discipline;
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage;
