In the role of Truck Planner, together with your colleagues from the Trucking team, you are responsible for planning and organizing road transport within the region, consisting of the Benelux, the Ruhr area in Germany, and Northern France. You attempt to realize this planning at the lowest possible costs, while maintaining the highest possible customer satisfaction, in order to strive for an optimal planning of the trucks. You ensure that our trucks arrive at the loading or unloading address at the right time, so that our customer's product is delivered to their buyer in perfect condition and at exactly the right moment. You do this for truck-driver-combinations from Van den Bosch as well as from external parties.

Anything can happen daily, requiring you to adjust your planning as efficiently as possible. You know better than anyone how to think in solutions and you derive a lot of energy from finding the most suitable possibilities. You maintain close contact with internal departments such as Customer Service and Master Planning (responsible for container planning). Additionally, you ensure a smooth transfer of the planning to the Fleet Planners, so that they can optimally translate this into clear and efficient instructions for the driver. It is important that you are resilient and keep a cool head. As a Truck Planner, you will work at the head office in Erp, within the Trucking team which is part of our Dry Bulk division.

Your profile

• At least a completed mbo education, preferably in the direction of Transport and/or Logistics;

• Affinity with transport is a must, knowledge of bulk transport is a plus;

• Good knowledge of the Enge
