IT Project Manager with experience in database migration

Your tasks

Valora Bemanning is looking for an IT Project Manager who wants to take responsibility for deliveries from planning to implementation and follow-up. You will lead database migrations, coordinate technical teams and the business, and follow up on schedule, budget, risks, and quality. The assignment also includes projects in environments with CAD and engineering applications.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Project Manager and leading the entire project lifecycle.
• Practical experience in database migration, including data validation, transition to a new environment, and risk management.
• Knowledge of database environments, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, as well as experience with CAD or engineering applications.
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, alternatively another IT degree and over 15 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing. You are based in Sweden.

Location Ludvika Extent 100 % Period 16 November 2026–31 March 2027 Primarily on-site. Some remote work within Sweden may be possible.

Before starting, a drug test, SSG Entré, and a non-disclosure agreement are required. The assignment requires employment with the supplying consulting company.
