What we move together

• In your role, you will shape the international purchasing strategy for a strategically important product group and make a direct contribution to the competitiveness of the Vaillant Group. Together with international specialist departments and suppliers, you will create sustainable value creation, drive innovation, and secure the supply of our plants worldwide.
• You will develop and implement an international material group strategy and identify market trends, innovation potential, and new procurement opportunities for the Vaillant Group.
• Your responsibility includes the establishment, selection, and further development of a high-performance international supplier portfolio to sustainably optimize quality, costs, and security of supply.
• By negotiating prices, contracts, and commercial framework conditions, you will utilize all purchasing levers to create long-term competitive advantages.
• Together with interdisciplinary teams, you will accompany product launches and ensure a stable supply chain even in challenging supply situations.
• You will shape professional and trustful relationships with international suppliers, conduct management discussions at eye level, and drive their sustainable development.
• Through your active supplier risk, quality, and change management, you will contribute to ensuring the high quality and sustainability standards of the Vaillant Group.

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You have a successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Experience: You bring sound professional experience in strategic purchasing, Category Management, or Commodity Management of an international industrial company.
• Know-how and Skills: Negotiation skills, analytical thinking, as well as confident use of SAP and Microsoft Office distinguish you, as do business-fluent English skills.
• Nice to have: Ideally, you have experience in the procurement of technical components, in international procurement markets, as well as in supplier and risk management.
• Personality: You convince through your communication strength, your assertiveness and stress resistance, as well as your ability to successfully bring different interests together in an international environment.
