Electrical Engineer (m/w/d)

VA TECH WABAG GmbH develops innovative solutions for drinking water treatment and industrial water treatment worldwide.

To strengthen our engineering team in Wien, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/w/d) with experience in plant engineering. 1 Electrical Engineer (m/w/d) Your Tasks

In this position, you will undertake, among other things:

• Technical coordination and on-site supervision of all EMSR and HKLS services
• Review and coordination of project-relevant documents (e.g., switchgear, cable, automation, as well as supplier and subcontractor documents)

• Interface coordination between electrical/automation technology, HKLS/building technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering, and construction trades

• Support for the Project Manager in controlling EMSR and HKLS subcontractors

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with schedule, quality, standards, and safety regulations (incl. relevant regulations)
• Planning and coordination of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)

• Responsibility for the preparation, execution, and documentation of commissioning as well as coordination of functional tests (e.g., loop checks, plant tests)
• Defect tracking as well as rectification of technical malfunctions during and after commissioning

• Creation of project-related documents (especially commissioning and handover)
• Participation in technical meetings

• Support with warranty and optimization measures after commissioning
• Fulfillment of other professionally relevant tasks as instructed by the supervisor that essentially belong to the job profile.

Your Profile

Ideally, you bring the following qualifications for this position:

Must-Have

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or similar

• Several years of professional experience in the engineering of industrial plants

• Very good English skills

• Structured, independent, and team-oriented way of working

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of relevant electrotechnical norms and standards

• Experience in the field of water, wastewater, or industrial water plants

• Experience with engineering tools (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, or comparable systems)

• Occasional willingness to travel
