Senior Sales Manager Food (m/f/d)

Your Challenges

Active new customer acquisition ("hunter mentality") as well as support and expansion of existing Key Accounts in the areas of Food Retail, E-Grocery, and Logistics with a focus on Great Britain and the EU (outside the DACH region)

Proactive sales of va-Q-tec's thermal packaging systems for logistics solutions in the food sector

Identification, development, and implementation of customer-specific (pilot) projects with retailers and E-Grocery companies

Interface management between Product Management, Development, Operations, and other internal stakeholders for the successful implementation of projects

Participation in strategic projects and Private Equity reporting

Market and competitor observation as well as continuous further development of the sales strategy

Responsibility for achieving sales targets and KPIs in the business unit

Preparation and execution of customer visits as well as presentation of the company and the product portfolio at trade fairs

Your Profile

Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in technical B2B sales – ideally in the areas of food retail, E-Grocery, cold chain logistics, or packaging

Existing network within the Food Retail or E-Grocery industry – preferably with contacts in capital goods, (last-mile) logistics, or procurement

Experience in working with leading intralogistics providers or system integrators is an advantage

Proven success in implementing new complex solutions with new customers

Entrepreneurial thinking, hands-on mentality, and negotiation skills

High degree of commitment, dedication, and flexibility

Fluent English skills are a must, other European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are an advantage

International willingness to travel is at 30–50%
