Job Responsibilities
- Support the Student Management Team in managing students with disciplinary issues, irregular attendance, or who are at risk of dropping out.
- Assist in locating missing or unaccounted students and supervising students in holding rooms, detention, suspension, or time-out sessions.
- Conduct preliminary investigations, gather facts and statements, and prepare incident reports.
- Monitor late-coming students and maintain accurate attendance and disciplinary records.
- Supervise students who require additional support and ensure their safety and well-being during school activities.
- Identify and report inappropriate behaviour, including vaping, smoking, and unauthorised mobile phone usage.
- Build positive relationships with students through mentoring, regular check-ins, and emotional support.
- Guide students in developing positive behaviour, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and emotional resilience.
- Identify early signs of emotional or behavioural concerns and refer cases to the relevant school personnel.
- Conduct regular patrols within the school compound to identify students who may require assistance.
- Work closely with teachers, school counsellors, and other school personnel to support student development and implement intervention plans.
- Maintain proper documentation of student cases, counselling activities, disciplinary matters, and intervention records.
- Compile disciplinary statistics and provide administrative support, including data entry and monitoring student reporting channels.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information and comply with school policies and ethical guidelines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school management.
Qualification:
ThePersonnel may also be assigned any other administrative and operational dutiespertaining to student management as directed by the school.
The Personnel
- Should preferably have a certification or diplomain social work, counselling, psychology or other related fields.
- Should preferably have an accreditation inrestorative practices.
- Should preferably have at least 2 years of working experience incounselling, social work or working with youths
