Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the Chairman, including managing schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and business correspondence.
- Handle full or partial sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, payroll, payments, receipts, journal entries, and maintain accurate financial records in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, prepare balance sheet schedules, and support the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, banks, suppliers, and auditors, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective communication.
- Perform ad hoc administrative, accounting, and personal assignments as delegated by the Chairman while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, in administration, or accounting is an advantage.
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR preferred (if applicable).
- Basic accounting knowledge with the ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and general accounting tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Workspace, and accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
