Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities Review and prepare quantity requirements to support accurate project costing Analyze maintenance and material costs and scrutinize contracts to secure optimal deals Liaise effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities Prepare comprehensive reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments to inform decision-making Document design changes and update budgets to reflect project modifications Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration Travel from the office to various sites as required to oversee project progress and resolve issues Preferred competencies and qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, supporting technical understanding and professional practice Familiarity with AutoCAD software to assist in design review and documentation Good technical knowledge relevant to quantity surveying tasks Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines
