Sales Manager
Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will work as part of UTAC's global sales team and report to the Sales Director in Finland. You will work in close cooperation with Ivalo's operational and technical teams, as well as other UTAC locations, to understand customer requirements and to be able to prepare quotations for tire testing and track services as well as driving events.
You will act as the primary contact person for customers regarding inquiries and bookings, and you will actively participate in organizing customer meetings both virtually and on-site. Additionally, you will support the Business Development Manager working in China in the preparation of quotations and sales materials.
The role will take you to the heart of testing operations. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be prepared to pay attention to technical details that are essential in testing operations. In this role, there are many balls in the air simultaneously, so prioritization and systematicity are important qualities for the future team member.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Carrying out quotation processes and building quotations according to customer needs
- Active communication with existing and potential customers
- Cooperation with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of quotations
- Supporting the Business Development Manager and Sales Director in developing new business opportunities
- Accurate maintenance of data in both the Salesforce customer relationship management system and the ERP system
- Compliance with the Group's administrative requirements in quotations and other approval processes
- Acting in all situations in accordance with the principles of conduct defined for UTAC personnel, as well as absolute confidentiality regarding customers
Experience
- Experience in sales with customers of various sizes; experience in technical sales is considered an advantage
- Experience in using a customer relationship management system is desirable; Salesforce proficiency is considered an advantage
- Working in an international environment is considered an advantage
