Junior Bid Technician - Industrial Sector

Currently, we are looking to incorporate a Junior Bid Technician into our Treatment team. The selected person will be based in Madrid.

What would your functions be? Analyze and understand the tender specifications (specific international markets where work is carried out in a negotiated procedure context).

Prepare executive summaries and structure key information in tools such as presentations and financial models.

Coordinate with the finance team on the creation and evolution of the bid's financial model.

Integrate the necessary technical and economic documentation for the proposal.

Adjust the bid based on clarification rounds with the client.

Act as a liaison between different internal departments (technical, financial, legal, etc.) to ensure the correct preparation of the bid.

Coordinate with strategic partners and international suppliers to define roles and responsibilities within the tender.

Conduct market studies and select the best partners for each project.

Participate in the negotiation of conditions with suppliers during the bid preparation process.

Present the bid to the internal committee and manage the necessary modifications based on the feedback received.

Support the presentation of the bid to general management and respond to strategic queries.

Coordinate responses to clarifications requested by the client during the negotiation process.

Supervise the development of the different phases of the negotiated procedure, from pre-qualification to award.

Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and technical requirements demanded in the tender.

Attend meetings with clients, strategic partners, and international organizations in different countries, via in-person (occasional) or remote means.

Availability for international trips of 1-5 days in duration.

Follow up on the status of the bid until the client's final decision.

In case of award, provide advice and support to the construction or operation teams during the project transition.

Visit operational plants to learn about processes in detail and strengthen the development of future bids.

What are we looking for? Industrial, mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, or mining engineering.

High level of English.

Office Package (high Excel). 3D plan viewers (Navisworks).

No experience required; with engineering studies, you will be trained at Urbaser.
