Your tasks

What would your functions be? *Integral management of purchasing processes and tenders, from the receipt of the need to the award and subsequent follow-up.

*Management, creation, and follow-up of purchase requests and orders in SAP Ariba.

*Preparation of offer comparisons and economic analysis of proposals.

*Preparation and extraction of Purchasing reports using SAP Ariba, SAP HANA, and Excel.

*Follow-up of orders, contracts, and ongoing purchasing processes.

*Management and coordination with internal clients/requesters during the different phases of the purchasing process.

*Operational management of suppliers, including order follow-up, incidents, and support in resolving billing problems.

*Maintenance and updating of information and documentation associated with suppliers, tenders, and purchasing files.

*Preparation of presentations, reports, and supporting documentation for the Purchasing area.

*Support in identifying and monitoring savings opportunities and improvement of purchasing processes.

Requirements

What are we looking for? *Experience in SAP Ariba, especially in the management and follow-up of purchase requests and orders and report extraction. Experience in SAP HANA, especially in extraction, processing, and analysis of information, is highly valued.

*Experience in the integral management of tenders, from the receipt of the need and request for offers to analysis, negotiation, award, and follow-up.

*Ability to perform economic analyses, offer comparisons, and evaluation of proposals.

*Experience in managing internal clients/requesting areas, understanding their needs and following up on processes until their closure.

*Experience in operational management of suppliers, including orders, billing, and incident resolution.

*Experience in the preparation and follow-up of Purchasing reporting, savings, and indicators.

Advanced level of Excel and good handling of Word and PowerPoint.

*English level sufficient to operate in a professional environment, maintain regular communications with suppliers, and understand documentation, offers, and contracts in English.

*Experience in the use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or equivalents, applied to the analysis and processing of information and to the preparation of comparisons, documentation, reports, and presentations.

*Ability to work with large volumes of information, analyze data, and synthesize it to facilitate decision-making.

*Ability for organization, prioritization, and simultaneous management of different processes.

*Communication, negotiation, and coordination skills with suppliers and internal areas.

*Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to drive matters until their resolution and closure.

*Result orientation, rigor, and ability to work in a team.

We are currently looking to incorporate a purchasing technician into our transformation, operational excellence, and systems team in Madrid. The selected person will be based in Madrid.
