PRODUCTION MANAGERS FOR BACKUP POWER CONTAINER MANUFACTURING

Urajärven metalli is a privately owned machine shop founded in 1984, which manufactures, among other things, oil tanks, pressure vessels, steel structures, backup power containers, and Lapamixer concrete mixers. We are expanding our operations in the manufacturing of backup power containers and opening a new factory in Hollola Salpakangas. The new factory will employ approximately 20 people in various production roles. The first employees will start in December, and full-scale operations will begin in February 2027.

We are now looking for two Production Tens for the manufacturing of backup power containers.

You will be among the first employees hired for the new factory and will have the opportunity to build the factory's practices and processes together with the production tens of other departments and the factory and production managers. When full-scale production begins, you will be responsible for the daily work management, material coordination, and quality control of your own department. In this role, you will report to the factory manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Direct the daily activities of your own department.
• Ensure the right people are assigned to the right work stages.

• Guide the correct working methods and installation quality where necessary.
• Coordinate the materials required for the workstations.

• Take responsibility for your department's quality, occupational safety, and operational development.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• The ability to understand even broad technical entities
• Good social skills and experience as a supervisor

• A proactive approach to work
• Ability to read machine and steel structure drawings

• Sufficient English language skills
