Technical Standards Author — AI-ready / SaC-ready standards

For one of our clients, we are looking for a person for the position of Technical Standards Author, who will be responsible for creating, developing, and refactoring technical standards prepared for use in environments supported by AI and in the Standards-as-Code (SaC) approach. In this role, you will transform narrative, often ambiguous requirements into clear, structured, testable, and verifiable requirements, while maintaining documentation readability for both business and technical users. It is particularly important to us that you have experience in creating standards, procedures, playbooks, control documentation, or requirements, rather than exclusively classic user documentation. Daily tasks

• Creating, editing, refactoring, and maintaining technical standards in an AI-ready / GenAI-ready formula.
• Transforming descriptive requirements into clear, atomic, and testable requirements.
• Preparing provisions regarding conformance levels, including baseline / enhanced / full conformance.
• Defining mandatory and optional rules, exceptions, and the method of reporting conformance.
• Creating precise documentation that can be unambiguously interpreted by both users and AI agents, tools, and validation processes.
• Preparing:
• compliant examples, non-compliant examples, edge cases, tips for remediating non-compliance, templates for priority standards.
• Maintaining traceability between standards, requirements, rule sets, conformance tests, examples, and evidence materials.
• Collaborating with Standards Leads, Data Modelling Leads, SME, Product Owners, and platform teams to translate requirements into practical and measurable rules.

Requirements

What are we looking for? Experience in technical writing, creating technical standards, or requirements analysis.

Skills in transforming ambiguous descriptions into concrete, testable, and verifiable requirements.

Knowledge of the MUST / SHOULD / MAY approach and conformance models.

Ability to distinguish requirements regarding and appropriately formulate them in terms of enforceability.

Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and translating their knowledge into concrete requirements and standards.

Skills in creating acceptance criteria, control criteria, examples, and edge cases.

A very good level of English, allowing for the creation and analysis of technical documentation.

Nice to have Experience or knowledge in areas such as: Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata, Data Quality, APIs, Data Products, Reference Data, Technical Documentation, Controls / Control Frameworks
