System Analyst (Discovery)

We are looking for a System Discovery Analyst to join an international team supporting business initiatives across multiple markets, with a particular focus on the US market.

The role sits at the intersection of Business, Operations, Product, and Technology. The person in this position will collaborate with business representatives to understand their needs and problems, analyze processes and requirements, and then translate them into clear, organized, and implementation-ready documentation for technology and delivery teams.

This is not a role focused solely on gathering and documenting functional requirements. We are looking for someone with a strong systemic and technological approach — someone who naturally thinks about how a business requirement should translate into an application, workflow, interaction between systems, or integration.

The Discovery process and the team's way of working are already defined. Your role will be to work within this process and translate business ideas and needs into well-analyzed, organized, and ready-to-execute initiatives.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, IT Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or a similar role. Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, especially in an environment where business requirements must be translated into technological solutions. A systemic approach to analysis and the ability to understand how business requirements translate into applications, system processes, and integrations. Experience in creating implementation-ready documentation, e.g., functional specifications, system requirements, process flows, workflows, use cases, user stories, or similar artifacts. Very good process analysis and modeling skills, including experience with AS-IS / TO-BE, BPMN, UML, or similar methods. Ability to understand and discuss interactions between systems, data flows, integrations, API, and application dependencies. Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and edge cases. Experience collaborating with developers, architects, QA, Product, and business. Very good work organization and attention to detail, even when managing several Discovery initiatives simultaneously. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, Miro, ARIS, or similar. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in creating trackers, reports, dashboards, or other practical tools supporting decision-making will be an additional asset. Fluency in English is essential — English is the only language of communication within the team. We particularly value experience in financial services, FinTech, technology, or business process services. Experience in Capital Markets will be a great asset. Experience in areas such as trading, securities, brokerage, investment banking, market operations, or related financial processes will be particularly interesting. Experience in the Payments area will also be very valuable. We are primarily looking for people who combine business/finance knowledge with strong systemic and technological analysis skills.
