Software Architect (Security & C++) | Remote

We are looking for an experienced Software/System Architect who will support the development and security of a large enterprise-class product operating in an on-premise environment for the healthcare sector. This is a mature, monolithic application based on C++ and Qt, requiring architectural decision-making related to implementing new security requirements.

Daily tasks

• Analysis of security requirements and their impact on the system architecture.
• Designing architectural solutions that support the implementation of security requirements.
• Assessing technical impact, dependencies, and risks associated with proposed changes.
• Making decisions regarding the implementation of requirements at the application, architecture, or infrastructure level.
• Defining secure solutions in the areas of authentication, data access, file processing, and integration with external systems.
• Supporting development teams and reviewing proposed technical solutions.
• Collaborating with architects and security experts when implementing changes in the product.

Requirements

Must Have Experience as a Software/System Architect or Senior Software Engineer with strong architectural experience. Very good knowledge of software design and system architecture. Experience working with large, monolithic applications. Ability to design and implement architectural changes in mature production systems. Good knowledge of application security and the ability to translate security requirements into technical solutions. Knowledge of low-level issues, such as memory management and multithreading. English language at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to Have Experience with systems based on C++ and legacy C++. Knowledge of the Qt framework and desktop/on-premise applications. Experience in the healthcare sector or with enterprise products. Participation in projects related to cybersecurity.
