Join an international project being carried out for a large public sector organization. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of modern web platforms based on Drupal and serve as a technical team leader.

Daily tasks

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications in a full stack approach.
  • Creating and developing solutions based on Drupal, including custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, and development of new functionalities.
  • Implementing business logic on the backend side in PHP and integration with databases and user interfaces.
  • Developing the frontend layer using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Designing and implementing APIs and integration with external systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Creating dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive map components.
  • Ensuring the performance, security, and accessibility of applications in accordance with public sector standards.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and container platform teams regarding deployments and environment maintenance.
  • Code review, technical support for the team, and making architectural decisions.

Requirements

Requirements Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in IT (or 12 years respectively with a bachelor's degree / 17 years with secondary education). Minimum 5 years of experience in backend application development in PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies. Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with the Drupal platform, including creating custom modules. Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience in building responsive web applications that work across different browsers. Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP). Experience in integration with authentication systems and Single Sign-On solutions. Ability to independently design, secure, and document API interfaces. Experience with databases and integrating the data layer with web applications. Very good knowledge of English (min. B2).

Nice to have Experience in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation. Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or GIS/interactive map solutions. Knowledge of WCAG standards and digital accessibility requirements. Experience in projects for the public sector or international organizations. Experience in a Technical Lead or Architect role.
