Senior Full-Stack Java Developer (Java, Angular, AWS)

Your tasks

The project combines Java and Spring technologies, modern frontend, AWS cloud solutions, system integrations, and tools supporting application security, performance, and monitoring. This is a proposal for an experienced engineer who moves comfortably in both the backend and frontend areas and has experience working with extensive enterprise systems.

• Development and maintenance of frontend and backend applications.
• Designing and implementing user interfaces, REST API, business logic, and database integrations.
• Creating scalable and secure services and developing application architecture.
• Implementing authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms.
• Preparing unit and integration tests and ensuring code quality.
• Diagnosing errors, debugging, and resolving production issues.
• Deploying applications using AWS, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring system performance, performance analysis, and solution optimization.
• Preparing technical documentation and collaborating on system component integration.
• Participating in architectural work and developing solutions for the enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Higher education: EQF level 7 and a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, or EQF level 6 and a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT.
• Very good knowledge of Java, including versions 19, 21, or 25.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, and REST API.
• Knowledge of J2EE/Jakarta EE, including EJB 3, CDI, and JMS, and experience with WebLogic 14.
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and experience with Angular or Vue.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, including schema design and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Liquibase and API design and security using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and system integrations.
• Very good knowledge of AWS and experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CaaS, Consul, and AWS VDI environments.
• Very good knowledge of Git, including GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development, and experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, or SVN.
• Knowledge of hexagonal architecture, microservices, and CQRS.
• Very good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, e.g., Kibana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Micrometer, and distributed tracing.
• Experience with testing using JUnit 4/5 and Mockito; knowledge of Vitest and Playwright.
• Experience working with Jira and in large Agile teams.
• Knowledge of AI tools supporting programming, such as Amazon Q or Kiro, and the ability to verify AI-generated code.
• Very good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of English or French at a minimum B2 level.

Additional assets will include knowledge of Bootstrap, RxJS, Webpack, Vite, Nx, JAX-WS, JAXB, Protobuf, Camunda, Activiti, and BPMN.
